Lions, Tigers and Camels (oh my!)

We spent the day at the Tiger Kingdom in Chiang Mai today:

Hot springs in Ranong, Thailand. Matt makes it look easy, but this water was so unbelievably hot!

This one was 65 degrees celcius.

  1. Hi you two! After looking at those tiger photos for the third time, I thought I'd just let you know about a tv show Mitch and I saw recently.

There's this guy who takes people scuba-diving, and then "plays" and "cuddles" with the sharks and big fish in the water. They were playing with these Nurse Sharks (300 lbs.) and the guy did his usual schtick of "kissing" a nurse shark ON THE MOUTH, except this time, the Nurse Shark held on! BIting him! And apparently it sunk 500 tiny little razor sharp teeth into this guy's lip, and it was hanging there like a WORM!!!! It took something like 298 stitches to put him back together!!

Ya, and apparently he was back at it, in the water, 3 days later!!!! (Okay, so he said his mistake was turning the shark upside DOWN and THEN kissing him, because the shark's eyes were on the floor of the sea, and couldn't see what was going on.)

Soooooooo, beware those petting zoos! Those "Under the Sea" playgrounds!!! Let the instructor do the kissing and cuddling!!!

What have you guys been up to???? Can't wait for the next installment!

    love mum
